The following is reproduced from a document titled "Virgin Voyager - On Board". |
On the outside of each carriage you'll see a display showing the train number, carriage letter, the main station stops and the train's destination. The final destination is also displayed at the front of the train.
There's space for four bikes on each Voyager train - most bikes can be accommodated (except for trikes or tandems). To bring your bike on board, you must reserve in advance (for a small charge) as bike storage is subject to availability.
Luggage racks and litter bins are located at regular points throughout the train.
Provided above every seat to ensure security of your booking.
Whatever you need, you can find it in the walk-in, self-service shop. Choose from a large range of food (including vegetarian options), hot and cold drinks, magazines, books, CDs and games.
No more worrying about where you are or what the next station will be, the information panel over the door inside each carriage is easy to read and is always kept up-to-date.
Toilets are roomy and automatic doors allow easy access. Well-equipped for all - especially the mobility-impaired and customers travelling with young children - they are fitted with grab handles, an alarm, baby-changing facilities, an automatic washbasin/dryer and a mirror.
Safety instructions are displayed throughout the tram with clear signs highlighting routes to the nearest exits and the location of emergency equipment. For the visually-impaired many feature instructions in Braille.
Any questions? Need help or information? Feel free to ask the Virgin Trains people on board. They are there to make your journey as pleasant as possible.
