APT-P Power Car 49006 has been a part of The National Railway Collection since leaving British Rail. On 15 June 1988 it was moved the short distance from Crewe Electric Traction Depot to Crewe Heritage Centre.

The two remaining Power Cars on the Chester Line whilst being shunted into Crewe Heritage Centre from the ETD.
